The „Nagelstock“
Rules for the „Nagelstock“ by Jürgen Altendorf & Josef Ribis
Aim of this game is it to hit a nail as few times as possible to get it into a trunk.
Check if you are ready to take this challenge – and if the „Schnaps“ will taste alright – even if you lose.
Int. „Nagelstock“ rules - Obergurgl since 1753
| § 1. | The person lost in the last game has to prepare the „Nagelstock“ which means the person has to do an important job and has to check if there are enough nails for all the players. |
| § 2. | The person which lost the last game is allowed to start or he can choose one of the players (expecially when ladies are playing!) |
| § 3. | The game is played clockwise. |
| § 4. | After clinching the nail once you have to give on the hammer in a friendly way! We kindly ask you to support ladies or weak players. The game should be played by friends!! |
| § 5. | There should not be any space between the nail and the wood. |
| § 6. | If a friend clinches your nail into the trunk at one go you have to hug him (with love). |
| § 7. | The winners are allowed to order a drink of their choice – the loser has to pay. |
| § 8. | During the game you have to be carefull that the door stays closed. The door is the little box where the nails live. |
| § 9. | The person who lost has to end the game with the „Hallo-Ötzi“ saying and can friendly ask for revenge! |
